As a senior at Rollins College I have to admit I am going to miss just
about everything about this place. My past four years here have taught me a lot
about myself and provided me with a lot of wonderful memories I will be sure to
cherish forever. In this blog post I will discuss some of my favorite
things about Rollins. I think that the overall best part of Rollins is
the small size, which allows for a close-knit community on campus. In
addition, small class sizes allow students to get the attention they need to
excel. I know this has been especially helpful for me since I have
Attention Deficit Disorder making it hard for me to concentrate when there are
a lot of distractions. Another great thing about Rollins is all of the
opportunities to get involved on campus. Many students find their place
at Rollins through sports teams, clubs, and different organizations.
Personally, joining my sorority has really altered my college experience
for the better, as I know it has for many of my peers. Joining a sorority
has not only led me to meet my best friends but it has also taught me to be a
more well rounded person. It has taught me the importance of scholarship
and caused me to take my grades a lot more seriously. It also made me more involved on campus as well as in the
Winter Park community. Most of all
it has taught me to be a leader and set an example for others. Another one of my favorite things about
Rollins is the close proximity to so many cool places. Between the theme parks, outdoor
activities, restaurants, and nightlife there is something to do for
everyone. I truly think that
Rollins is a place unlike any other College in this country.
